Frank Viele & the Manhattan Project. Drawing comparisons to major acts such as
O.A.R. and the Dave Matthews Band as well as classic artists including Chicago
and Tower of Power, Frank Viele and the Manhattan Project have been touring
venues and colleges all over the Northeast region. Their debut full-length

Opera Providence celebrates its Seventh Season of Free Outdoor Concerts in July.
Prepare for the beauty and art of opera in a romantic setting in one of
Providence's neighborhood parks with "Opera in the Park - 2010." This
entertaining series of free concerts is presented by Opera Providence. Opera
lovers will delight in four free music-filled evenings highlighting favorites
from opera, operetta and musical theatre. The Neighborhood Performing Arts
Initiative continues to support this series in conjunction with the Providence
Department of Art, Culture and Tourism, the City of Providence, Mayor David N.
Cicilline, and Councilman Nicholas Narducci from the Charles Street/Branch
Avenue neighborhood. Each "Opera in the Park" performance will delight and
entertain audiences of all musical interests. Opera Providence's "Opera in the
Park" series celebrates a wide range of musical styles and showcases fabulous
singers from the region. The "Opera in the Park - 2010" series shows the power
of the arts to fuel tourism and the revitalization and development of our
neighborhoods. Once again, locals and tourists alike will have the opportunity
to enjoy the amazing voices of Opera Providence in a true neighborhood setting
in Hopkins Park at the intersection of Charles Street and Branch Avenue,
highlighting St. Ann's Church and Square.

Ocean State Learning will present a series of Free Outdoor Summer Concerts on
Federal Hill in one of Providence's historic neighborhood parks. Presented
through support given by the Neighborhood Performing Arts Initiative, the
Providence Department of Art, Culture and Tourism, the City of Providence and
Mayor David N. Cicilline, Ocean State Learning will perform in Garibaldi Park,
under the Arch to Federal Hill in five weekly Monday evening concerts beginning
on Monday, July 5th, July 12th, July 19th, July 26th, and August 2nd. Each
week you will be entertained by the best of Rhode Island's musicians, to
include: Orchestra Romanza with Dominic DiPasquale, classical guitarist Ron
Murray, Billy Moretti on keyboard, Italian troubadour Lino DelSignore, Greg
Wardson on keyboard, Artie Cabral on percussions, vocalist Ken Morrocco, and
much, much more. So clean off your summer beach chairs, bring them up to the
park and prepare to relax while you listen to music from the heart. For more

Red Green will bring his one-man show - The Wit and Wisdom Tour - to
Providence, Rhode Island, this summer. The Wit and Wisdom Tour covers Red's
adventures in everyday life, the great outdoors, and - most certainly - the
latest and greatest use for the handyman's secret weapon: duct tape. The live
performance is at 8 PM on Saturday, July 24, at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium
in Providence. This show is Red Green's only New England performance, so if
you're a local fan, get your tickets early! Premium seating for The Wit and

Dana Millar of Dana Designs, West Kingston, RI, the steward of the gardens at
the historic Theatre By The Sea, will conduct garden tours on select Saturday
mornings during the 2010 Summer Season. Originally designed in 1988 by landscape
designer Louis Raymond and with the 2010 annuals display designed and generously
donated by Highland Farm in South Kingstown, RI, the abundant gardens at Theatre
By The Sea have been meticulously maintained by Dana Designs for the past two
years. Complimentary garden tours, which will last approximately 40 minutes,
will be conducted rain or shine beginning at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 10,
Saturday, July 31, and Saturday, August 21. Each week the tour will
examine a new topic in the world of gardening. Participants should meet in the
newly redesigned gazebo area adjacent to the theatre on the grounds at Theatre
