Thoroughbred News - Remembering Narragansett Park

From left to right: Jean Restivo, Ennio Corbon, and Gilda ColanninoIt was a crowning moment at the Alpine Country Club when Christina Balletto, Mrs. Rhode Island - America 2007, proudly handed over her state title and crown to this year's winner Jacqueline Nardolillo. Judges were tasked with a difficult undertaking as some of Rhode Island's most accomplished married women competed for the title of Mrs. Rhode Island - America 2008 and the opportunity to vie for the national Mrs. America 2008 title later
this fall in Tucson Arizona. The contestants, all uniquely extraordinary, showcased their leadership, humanity, intelligence, and beauty - but only one woman walked away with the crown - Jacqueline Nardolillo. A resident of Greene, Nardolillo has been married to her husband Robert for 6 years.

They have 2 children, Rocco age 4 and Milania age 2. She feels that the Mrs. Rhode Island America Competition was a great experience and can not wait to work on preparing herself for the National Mrs. America Competition in September. Jacqueline feels she has found her sole mate and they work together as an amazing team. She calls herself The CEO of her household. She feels winning the title of MrsFrom left to right: Jean Restivo, Ennio Corbon, and Gilda Colannino. Rhode Island America will give her the opportunity to become a role model for the women today in showing how to juggle being a great mom and loving wife. Jacqueline is involved in the cancer society and the national food bank. She loves cooking playing tennis, horseback riding and traveling."After many years of working in pageants, we feel confident that

Jacqueline Nardolillo will be a great representative for the state of Rhode Island", said State Director Elaine Paolo We know she will make us proud as she goes on to compete for the title of Mrs. America 2008 in September. as she goes on to compete for the title of Mrs. America 2008 in September.
